This Privacy Policy explains how Privio ("Privio", "we", "us" or "our") handles information when you use the Privio mobile application. Privio is designed as a privacy-focused application for storing and organizing personal photos, videos, documents, notes and other private content.

2. Content stored in Privio

The core Privio vault is designed to store your private content locally on your device. Private content placed in the vault is not intended to be uploaded to our servers as part of the core local-vault functionality.

3. Personal information

The core vault functionality does not require you to provide your name, postal address or phone number. If additional services are introduced, this policy will be updated before those services are used to process additional personal data.

4. Device permissions

Privio may request permissions needed for features you choose to use, such as selecting photos, videos, documents or files. If biometric authentication is enabled, authentication is handled by the operating system; Privio does not receive your fingerprint or facial biometric template.

5. Security

Privio is designed to restrict access to private content using application and device security mechanisms such as a PIN and supported biometric authentication. No electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell or rent the private photos, videos or documents stored in your local Privio vault.

7. Analytics, advertising and third-party services

The final production version of this section will identify any analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, subscription or other third-party SDKs used by Privio. This policy must be updated to match the services included in the released application.

8. Children's privacy

Privio is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the core local-vault functionality.

9. Data deletion

Content stored locally in the Privio vault can be managed through the application. Removing the application and its associated local data may also remove locally stored content, subject to the behavior of your device and operating system.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when Privio's functionality or applicable requirements change. The date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly.
